Banoffe Protein Waffles

At this time of year all the Christmas markets are full of stalls selling lovely hot and heart warming waffles.  Here’s a Bam waffle recipe that means you can enjoy that warm feeling from the comfort of your own home.

Recipe (Makes 4)

Ingredients:
1 banana⠀
1 cup self-raising flour (wholemeal if you have it)⠀
1 cup Bam Organic High Protein Banoffee Shake
1 egg⠀

Toppings: ⠀
Frozen yoghurt⠀
Berries⠀
Chocolate sauce/ cacao nibs

Method⠀

Add all of the ingredients to a blender, then blitz into a smooth batter.⠀
Brush a 4-serving silicone waffle mould with a bit of oil, then divide the mixture between the 4 moulds.⠀
Bake for 20 mins at 180degC until golden and a skewer comes out clean after insertion.⠀
Serve warm with your choice of toppings – frozen vanilla yoghurt, chocolate sauce, banana and strawberries are a great combination!
