Protein Packed Pancake Stack Recipe
These are American-style fluffy pancakes made using Bam Organic High Protein Vanilla Shake and a few basic ingredients. They’re so simple but could be the best pancakes you’ll ever make.
Recipe (Makes 6-8)
200ml Bam Vanilla Protein Milk
1 cup wholemeal self-raising flour
1tbsp honey or syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
To cook: 1tsp oil or butter, extra cinnamon
Toppings: choice of peanut butter, chocolate sauce, nuts, cacao nibs, granola etc.
Blend the flour, milk, egg and honey/syrup together until smooth and thick.
Heat a frying pan, then add 1/2 tsp of oil or butter and spread around the pan.
Sprinkle cinnamon across the pan, then pour in 2-3 large dollops of the batter (depending on pan size).
When bubbles start to form on the top of the pancakes, flip them, then cook for a further 45-60 seconds.
Remove cooked pancakes from the pan, then repeat the process until all of the batter is used up.
Divide the pancakes into desired portions, then finish with your choice of topping.
