Chunky Monkey Smoothie Bowl

We’re often told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not make it a bit special?

Here’s a really quick and simple recipe that tastes amazing! It’s quite rich and indulgent as breakfasts/dessert bowls go, but still full of nutrients too.

Ingredients

Smoothie

1 330ml carton of Bam Organic High Protein Chocolate Milk
1 banana (ideally frozen in slices)
1 tbsp peanut butter
4 tbsp oats

Toppings:

Extra banana slices
1 tsp peanut butter
1 tbsp chopped nuts/cacao nibs/coconut flakes
1 tbsp granola

Method:

Blend the smoothie ingredients together until smooth. Add in a handful of ice cubes if the banana is unfrozen to make the smoothie thicker.
Pour the smoothie into a bowl, then top with a sprinkle of granola, chopped nuts and cacao nibs, then a few extra banana slices
Finish with a drizzle of smooth peanut butter, then serve.
