Bam Organic – proud to support Dallaglio Cycle Slam

May 30, 2018

The most recent event saw 200 riders commit to cycling ambitious and physically challenging European routes over a three week period, to raise £1million for Dallagio RugbyWorks. The cycling challenge took on the French and Swiss Alps, Italian lakes and stunning scenery of Slovenia and Croatia where the 1,800km journey came to an end.

Intense competition requires serious recovery, and flavoured milk has been praised as one of the most efficient ways to replenish muscles and speed up recovery time.

The Cycle Slam raises money to support Dallaglio RugbyWorks, which helps young people tackle life in a positive way, using rugby to transform the aspirations of young people – 14 to 17 year olds at increased risk of long-term unemployment, criminality and imprisonment.

RugbyWorks delivers an intensive, long-term skills development programme based on rugby, where they aim to get teenagers outside of mainstream education into sustained education, employment or training.

The team at Bam Organic wished all the riders the best of luck on their challenge.
